Jonathan Rampersaud’s all-round performance led Guyana to their first victory of CWI Rising Stars Male Under-19 Super50 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Saturday.
After crashing to defeats against the Leeward Islands and Jamaica, the Guyanese finally got on the points table through a comfortable 54-run victory over Barbados on the DLS method.
Vice captain Rampersaud stroked 31 not out and came back with the ball to pick up 3-20 to inspire his side in wet conditions.
